Privacy Policy

BroData is a data services brand operated by Nuvia Ventures, a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia (SSM). Contact: hello@brodata.my or WhatsApp on +60 11-2142 7400.

• Contact info you give us via the get-started form: name, business name, business type, WhatsApp number, preferred contact time, and what you wrote in the pain-point field.
• Project data you choose to share during engagements, such as sales exports, customer order data, or files you send for automation work.
• Site analytics: anonymised page-view data through Vercel Analytics and (optionally) Plausible. Both are cookie-less and do not track individuals.

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project on WhatsApp or email.
• To perform the data work you engage us to do.
• To send you the final deliverables and follow-up support.
• To understand which pages on the site are useful (aggregate analytics only).

We do not use your data for advertising, profile-building, or sale to third parties. We do not run an email newsletter.

For paid engagements, we work on copies of your files. After a project is delivered and the 7-day bug-fix support window closes, we delete the working copies. You retain the original files. If you would like us to retain working copies for future iteration (for example, on a retainer), we will agree this in writing.

We process personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. You have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
• Ask us to delete personal data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
• Withdraw consent for processing, where consent is the basis.

To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email above.

• Get-started form submissions are retained for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted.
• Project files are deleted within 7 days of project completion unless a retainer is in place.
• Invoice records are retained for 7 years to meet Malaysian tax record-keeping requirements.

• WhatsApp (Meta): used for client communication. Messages and contact info are processed under Meta's privacy policy.
• Resend: used to deliver lead notifications to the founder's inbox. Resend processes the form contents as a data processor only.
• Vercel: hosts the website and provides anonymous analytics.
• Tooling for delivery (Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Python libraries) is selected per project and disclosed before work starts.

The website does not set tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics and Plausible are cookie-less. Browsers may still store standard preference cookies set by Next.js or hosting infrastructure.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, for active clients, notify by WhatsApp.
